CSP Calls on “Going Global” Enterprises to Enhance Their Principal Responsibilities and Bring the Advantages of Specialized Institutions into Full Play

On June 9, 2023, the 9th China Enterprises Going Global Risk Conference was held in Beijing. The event, under the theme of “high-quality going global matching high-level security protection”, was hosted by Jiang Tai International Associates and Jiang Tai Global Assistance Alliance and supported by China Overseas Development Association. CSP International Risk Management Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was invited to the event.
Li Xuefei, President Assistant and Chief Security Director of CSP International Risk Management Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd., presented his views on the ways for outbound tourists and “going global” enterprises to ensure security abroad after the pandemic prevention and control measures have been lifted. For outbound tourists, Li reminded that global terrorism is showing signs of resurgence and posing a risk of terrorist attacks on tourists, and that some countries/regions are suffering from political and social unrest due to the economic downturn, which also exposes tourists to the risk of personal safety and property damage.
In respect of security protection for “going global” enterprises and their employees, Li put forward several initiatives. First, the enterprises shall fulfill their principal responsibilities, hold a “protective umbrella” and draw a “magic circle against evil” for their overseas employees, striving to create a solid and reliable security environment. Second, the enterprises shall cooperate with specialized institutions in completing specialized tasks and bring the advantages of specialized assistance and security service institutions into full play, while making up for their own shortcomings in overseas security management. Third, individual overseas employees shall develop a sense of responsibility for their own safety and change their mindset from relying solely on their enterprises to keep safe to doing so on their own.
